one main feature of windows phone will now be available to android and ios also. What do u think microsoft u can sell windows phones only with ur live tile system ????. haha ..u wont get google apps on windows phones but u give MS apps to android and make it more stronger … lol .. how could u even think of it.

Kingsoft Office 2012 Free is an interesting thing. It what was Microsoft Office looked like back in 2003, but it’s free. It doesn’t have some nice new MS Office features, like color bars, but still its functionality is more than enough for most users. And it’s nice enough.

But. DO NOT install on PC outside USA. It breaks regional settings making many local apps not working properly. They promised to fix it many months ago. But the problem is still there. Surely, as it needs quite a lot of recoding in Spreadsheet. It also comes with English and Chinese only. No any other languages making it impossible to use by most non-English and non-Chinese users.

The latest touch-optimixed Microsoft Office is not at all a good alternative if you do not have a touchscreen, with dirty fingerprints all over the screen! The LibreOffice interface is a lot more productive than the touch-optimized Microsoft Office!
Exactly what can Microsoft Office do that LibreOffice still not yet can do?
Taxpayers money should never be wasted if there are free alternatives that are good enough!
“My” company have never ever needed any support for Microsoft Office, so why pay for something that is not really needed?

LibreOffice is such a poorware – ugly as hell, non-productive, slow with lack of support. Open sources like to scream that they are better, but when it comes to support everything ends up with words – “well, it’s free and nobody forced to do anything here, so take it as it is”… Yeah, sure. No business and government needs such kind of business model. And no home users needs such an ugly and non-productive interface. They better have less functional, but nice. While Microsoft Office offer everything – huge functionality and excellent interface. And there are no any alternatives to it on PC.

Why pay a lot of money to be able to edit dcuments for just one year, and then pay again to be able to be able to continue edit documents for every new year, when Kingsoft Office is completly free and can create and edit any office document? Why pay extra just to get the “Microsoft” logo, that is even more pointless than paying extra just to get the “Apple”… logo!
Microsoft Office on my laptop can not do more for me than the free LibreOffice, also on my laptop, and I can actually do more and faser and easier using LibreOffice than using Microsoft Office!

Google Docs is a pure cr^pware. There are some much better offices for Android – Kingsoft Office, Smart Office. And lots of more simple. but still better than Google Docs suites – Polaris Office, OfficeSuite Pro, Quick Office, Documents To Go, Olive Office, ThinkFree Office

Yet still Android is not ready for productivity. It lacks of regional settings, printing API and printing driver subsystem.

I.e. non US users are not able to use spreadsheets, because all office suites utilize US standards (Mainland Europe uses ‘,’ as a decimal separator with many different separators for groups). And all of them lacks support of documentation standardization. So Word can only be used for private needs, not for business.

Microsoft Office is only a pointless document reader on Android, it can not edit any documents! Kingsoft Office is a free office suite on Android that can create and edit any office document!
