And a huge colored ugly block with an even uglier white icon of the Internet explorer tels me just as much as the well made smaller icon of Win 7. Even if it was the huge colored block with the even uglier white e-mail icon inside plus 2 lines of text from an email I would still have to press it to view the rest of the mail. And chance would have it that 1/3 of the time the text displayed would be of a spam mail :-D

Then there is the huge ugly colored block with text and weather icon that only takes up 1/3 of the colored block, leaving alot of uglyness just sitting there taking up space on my screen. etc. etc.

So instead of supporting this look and OS they started collecting “clown vomit” and made it into huge ugly one colored blocks with ugly white icons inside, that looks like the ones used for old people with bad eyesight :-D
