In addition many contents of Zune is not available outside US, and furthermore non-US, non-European contents are almost non-existent.
wifi sync is old news, its availability was long before on droids, and iphones could do that through some tweaking. oh, lets not forget the likes of dropbox, ubuntu one, etc which is still not supported on WP. 3g/wifi cloud file storage >> wifi sync.
easy system wide search? again available on other platforms before. And no built in file manager in wp. on droids its natural, on iOS jailbreak is required but still…at least they have it.
gorgeous layout? srsly?the layouts are more dull than vanilla android 1.0 and that’s saying something. it is simplistic without much option of anything.
Also Zune is required for your WP devices too, since there are no USB storage mode, no way to trasfer music/pictures etc. (another thing that gets me. Its a bloody smartphone that cannot transfer ‘documents’ from pc? why? WHY??)
So in your words, zune is being used because you cant use your ‘awesome’ WP devices without it. duh (btw for your information iphone can still be used in linux without resorting to virtualbox whereas MS really sucks you into windows only)
only saving grace of Zune itself is that it is not a bloatware that is itunes….yet

and as far as i’m concerned both iOS and WP is both light mobile OS with some serious limitation. but iOS is just better (more user base=more apps/tweaks/supplement devices)
also learning programmes does not require windows pc. also windows and iOS are different…heard of ms-dos and unix?

itunes was never a revolution, iphone and ipod undoubtedly were. . .it only became popular because you couldnt use your awsome apple devices without it. . .duh

and are you seriously as silly as to compare ios to windows??one is a light mobile operating system and other is a full fledged OS. . .
how much ever developers you can gain for ios but remember all of them have, at one point of time learnt programming on a windows based computer.
and so they are windows develepors before they are ios developers  . .

Its more like win MEIt is a nice OS, but comparing it to Apple’s iOS (more brand recognition, friendly usability, more apps, higher level of compatibility with other products with some rather good functionality) 
or Android (more widely used, different flavours for different end users, more customisability, and good compatibility)
…it just isn’t good enough.

Zune sucks, but MS is pushing it to be next iTunes.

Oh, and people don’t care much about Nokia when price for iPhone is about same. I’ve seen Lumia in action, and I like the whole thing and all but with already very small market for both WM/WP & Nokia as it is in smartphone market, there isn’t going to be a huge impact.

oh before u say anything, i have WP device and has been using custom WP7.5 before it became available to public so i think i know what im talking about

Look at its market share which is still going down. The reason is, the handsets are so expensive and the os provides little in the way of innovation or features. It’s not even nice looking.
