Actually, being a fan of the series and having read the novels and comics, Man-kind is one of the reason for the early return of the reapers. In a way, we are more difficult to indoctrinate and pose a challenge to their reign. Also reason for all the Collector abductions and the attempt to build a human DNA containing reaper in 2. Oh, we also like to F around with fire and Cerberus took parts regardless how we ended ME2 and made a boo-boo.
