I actually have one and it doesn’t lag at all.. Stock no ICS it quadrants 7623 and is fast as hell smooth everywhere. It is already the fasted phone I have used and I just came from a GSG3 once it gets JB official or not this phone will only get better and it is already the best. The camera quality might not be that great though, and atm the software sucks just like LG is known for, but the custom roms always fix that and if this thing gets good roms it will be insane.

Ahead like in ICS vs Jellybean? Or ahead like in webbrowsing benchmarks?

My Note II came with JB out of the box, and for the G-spot its not even announced. And performance only impresses in a useless synthetic benchmark like Linpack, and it is far own on the list for more real world usage benchmarks. One must decide if one will use it most for web or for linpack, and then i take the one that has performance in realistic usage.

i’ve heard that LG phones have a locked bootloader…wouldn’t that mean that you CAN’T put on anything not officially released by LG for the optimus g?

so what’s the situation with regards to the expandable storage (micro sd slot)? some sources indicate that the AT&T version WILL have an sd slot, but from past phone releases Rogers and AT&T release the same phone and Rogers seems to be releasing an 8MP version WITHOUT an sd slot….so what’s the verdict on versions released?

i may be innocent from what LG have done in ELECTRONIC business. I know iphone inside were composed of different manufacturers and iPhone advance software helps them to improve. If LG has done good with iPhone screen why the hell they cannot make it on their own device? Yeah they got the latest gen specs but hell they are not capable enough to compete to other brand with the same specs. See how mediocre the performance of 2x as compared to other tegra 2 devices? see how miserable the 4x Hd having 2100mah battery which doesnt even justify that its having 2000+ battery capacity with its poor battery life. As what most people who relied on about mobile performance how good the 4x as compare to other quad core competitors? in four of them 4x was place at number 4 as Number 1 is the top spot. Before praising LG you must have tried once to use their product. LG had done lots of innovations but they cannot give justice for their own innovations. i DOnt like copy cats tell them to samsung and lg their mobile interface are look like the same and almost similar to iOS interface! Those fans who praise their copy cat company why dont you convince that company to make out things different from others. you said poor but you seems poorer than me. LOOSER
