I’ve never seen any Nokia’s phone that could compete with Sony’s cybershot series.. Now i’ve to agree one fact… Lumia 920… My GOD… It’s more than awesome… For the past couple of days i’ve been reading and seeing videos abt it… And it’s beaten the hell outta every other smartphones… And if Nokia goes this way it’ll eventually become King of Smartphone cameras… I’m a bit jealous of Lumia 920…:P Hope Sony’s Exmor RS would give tough competition to Nokia next year…:)

HDR Pictures are the same, have you guys uploaded the correct photos?
Also the pictures are very noisy and colors are far from reality.

Seems like you never had a camera-centric Nokia smartphone, and you only heard/read about N8 so you’re mentioning it. Check for Nokia N82 from 2007, it still has great camera+proper xenon flash, which makes it better and more usable than most cameras in smartphones nowadays.

Is it just me or is the quality not even very good? Not sure if it’s the service they gave us the pictures with, but my N8 pictures generally speaking have looked better both close up and further out.

Haha… Upset… No… Never ever… Either you must be kidding or you must be ignorant… What you said would be other way around… 9 for Sony and 1 for others… You must be talkin abt some parallel universe… Only past couple of the years Samsung has been good in cams and only cam that was good in Nokia line-up in the past couple of years was N8… And Sony has always been great… Only prob i see in Sony after 2011 line-up is noise level… That too that can be seen only if we zoom them up… Everything else is jus fine & great… Enough said…

Then don’t be upset by truth. 9 times out of ten Nokia and Samsung had better cameras. Just simple fact. Has Sony had better cams? Yes. But majority of the time no.

“Nokia rivaled by Samsung… Sony has been behind both of’em”… What world DO YOU live in…??? Samsung,Apple & LG are customers of Sony’s camera sensors.. Do you know that…??? And of course PV808 is a monster that can’t be compared with any phone… Cos it belongs to a different league… Fact is, no phone can match it… It’s unbeatable.. But that doesn’t make Nokia the king of cameras… All others will be beaten by Sony cams… To be frank my W705′s 3mp cam would beat the hell out of my dad’s nokia c5′s 5MP cam anyday… Would U care to explain when did Nokia become no.1 for mobile cams from…??? Only their latest offers like N8,maybe upcomin Lumia 920 are great… Other cams would be beaten so bad by Sony,Apple & Samsung… Most of the reviews those deal with camera tests would include Sony,Samsung,Apple & HTC… Except N8 none of other Nokia products are included in cam tests more often… Except N8 none of Nokia phones can be compared to the other brands… SO pls don’t talk for the sake of fanboyism…

PS : I’m not a troll nor am i a hater of Nokia or somethin… I still have couple of Nokia phones with me and I love Nokia but not a fan of their cameras.. Peace…
