Latest Google Chrome update brings Retina display support on OS X, webcam support for everyone

Google has released the latest version of the desktop Chrome browser, which brings it to version 21.0.1180.60. One of the two important features is the support for the Retina display on the new MacBook Pro. This feature was so far available on the beta version but now those who use the stable release can take advantage of it as well.

Another feature that was only available on the beta version before is support for a camera and microphone. Now thanks to addition of the getUserMedia API, websites will finally have access to your webcam (if you allow them), which will let you use services like Webcam Toy, Magic Xylophone and Sketchbots, to name a few.

Other minor additions include deeper Google Cloud Print integration and expanded support for gamepads. To download the latest version of Google Chrome, click here.
