They got left behind by technology. They’re busy making money and realized the competition is already shifting to digital. They tried to develop their kodak (advantix) but ended up hammered by the first gen canon ixus digital P&S cameras.

Oh that was worded wrong. You said Kodak was asking for compensation. So your reply doesn’t make sense. You said it was sad that a Company was resorting to such things so logically they said apple because they are horrible at that lately. Then you describe the difference in what they are asking for and tell them to learn the difference which changed the topic. In the end apple is using low tactics so it fits what they said perfectly. Even though that’s not what Kodak is actually doing according to you it is. So what they said fits while you just changed things around. And I’m sorry but apple is not just suing to get rid of infringing products. They are claiming they invented everything like slender devices, and all patents and trying to Sue anything that’s a big threat. They want to monopolize and nobody can deny this.

While Nikon and Cannon jumped to the digital age, kodak choose to stay with the analog technology. these days you cant win without updating yourself constantly with the trend :(
