More OS’s are good, lets think we have 6 generations of iOS, The many desserts of Android, RIM, Bada, WP 7/7.5 and soon to be released 8, Windows Mobile 6.5 (Although dead still alot of users still running this or Custom Versions), Symbian in all of incarnations, Meego. I vote the More the merrier – look at how many Motor vehicle brands there are.

No thanks, Nokia’s burnt way too many bridges in the F/OSS community over the years, Jolla mustn’t touch them with a 10-foot pole (except to license some tech).

I’m hoping that Meego will again team up with Nokia and probably combine their platform with the Symbian OS, this will definitely hit the Market!

Its not that, if one OS become so much successful and all the devs just go on building apps for the most famous of all. How much the competition still emerges for the devs themselves!
More the number of options, more the value. After all, mobile users brigade is increasing day-by-day. That isn’t that much of a pain in the Genitals anymore. And if new OS comes with a feature to be able to have code requirements as the Current day OSes, it will be BOOM!

i double back you but, being stricter wont serve the purpose. All they need to do will be keep a tab on bad code to secure the users.
Imagine how many devices activate daily and how may users click on Ads or buy apps so that developers get paid!
anyways stil, lets see what they have in the box for us.
