That is great news. The price has been way over than what the specs deserves ever since they bundled with the beats earphones. I was thinking of buying HTC One S but looking at the price and specs. I chose LG Optimus 4X HD instead with higher specs and roughly the same price. I do not need the Beats headphones, I have already used Senheisser.

What more can one say about HTC – the only thing “consistent” about HTC is their “inconsistency”. For a company that started out as an OEM, as long as they are churning out phones, why should they bother about anything else?

No,what it means is: Currently charging £500 for it (let’s say) with headset. Now, remove headset from retail box (which costs money anyway), now comes best bit, KEEP THAT HIGH PRICE BECAUSE CONSUMERS ARE USE TO IT BY NOW and sell beats headset on a side with some discount voucher for, say, 100 pounds!
End result, you just increased your profit by 20-30 percent!
I laugh at their response “headphones aren’t dictating factor when buying a phone”.
So keep it then if it is not a problem or cost to you.
Or even better, DROP the price of every phone by 100 (cost of headset).
As if they will ever do that…..

@Guest, “in general aren’t better than all Beats headphones”, good point. Perhaps, Beat’s Top series may perform better than my earphones. BUT, in general, i was gonna say that earphones like UE and Shure is >>>Beats.
