OK, now we reach a conclusion.
Well, it’s rated at 9 hours of playback, but rated, don’t know real world numbers.
Not huge numbers but at least enough. My Bluetooth headphones last for 7 hours and this gives me a week of playback.

I don’t expect anything from HTC to be honest, as they totally f*cked up their phone lineup since the One X, they completely lost my trust. But if this is priced $20 or below, I’ll buy one. Of course, if it only works with HTC devices, it’s out of the question.

Aha, but I’m not talking about the phone.
The subwoofer itself relies on power; the stronger the bass is, the more power it consumes. Its own battery will be drained fast.

The phone doesn’t power the subwoofer at all…
Bluetooth A2DP link takes very little power nowadays…

I don’t get you, power is only drained from the bluetooth link on the phone?

You do know it comes with internal battery, so the power is only drained from the Bluetooth link on the phone, right?
Actually nowadays even the A2DP link takes pretty low power to operate, so it barely changes anything (and both Bluetooth radio’s lower consumption + bigger batteries).
