Maaan, I'm not calling you a fanboy...

It's just that they sure made it popular, but they are taking all the credit like touch phones were their invention, and also the smartphones.

Maybe I chose whrong words, but it's that what I wanted to say, possibly said it whrong... They created a touch OS wich they later turned into a smartphone OS, and made it realy popular, sure. But they aren't the inventors of it, they made the concept popular, not invented it.That's why I don't give them all the credit.
What I agree for sure is that because of iPhone's succes, the market trend became touch phones.
And looking at the first comercial Android phone, I realy don't see copying, inspiration sure, but not copy. As I don't call iPhone a LG Prada copy, but an inspiration.

At least I don't accept it because in fact, it wasn't innovation! It was an already existent concept, WITH A SH!TLOAD OF MARKETING ON TOP.

It can easily be called the phone that brought this concept to the huge popularity it has now, but not innovative.
In the begining, the very first iPhone with the very first iPhone OS wasn't even as practical as many feature phones with it's "web apps". The iPhone we all see now came a long way untill it reached this level, the start was all about a huge marketing over a ridiculously expensive and limited phone.
(I see a war coming...)
