I don’t wanna suggest that Samsung lacks innovation. That’s not true. It’s just that not every new feature is an innovation. And the above mentioned are not. That doesn’t mean that there are no other innovations from Samsung.

Just like the iPhone… It has retina display since iPhone 4… But Samsung didn’t put a high PPI display on the S2…

I think display is not Samsung number 1 choice to improve… Samsung is improving the usability of the phone…

Also, S3 is one of the best screens until now…

Yeah, my argument was for a person who got the S3 relatively recent, like some of my friends did.
I love how tech improves faster and faster, but I hate the frustration it causes when you pay top dollar on a device that is almost obsolete in 3 months – at least according to the manufacturers. I think there should be a fine balance between upgrading too fast and too slow, in order to keep customers happy and content with their latest purchase for a longer time and still make them wanna upgrade. But the rhythm that is imposed now… it’s just too damn fast!
But the good part is that, like it or not, people will eventually react when the rhythm is too fast, and slowly, slowly they will stop throwing money on faster, bigger and shinier upgrades (no SGS reference here).

Yeah, I won’t argue that. Just that I used to work in the broadcasting industry and I noticed how this HD moniker makes people buy stuff like crazy, half of the time without even thinking. And most of the people don’t even know what HD means (for example, there is no such thing as HD on 30 fps, only from 60 fps and up – the rest is just marketing BS). This fuels my argumentation :))

As I already said I don’t think so unless you really need the best right away. However you can’t say the price is not worth it unless you specifically still mean as to if you just got the S3 then sure
