Google is making money, its not like apple made them make it. Apple also now without a youtube app the phone would lose some value as a hell of a lot of people use it.

Its better then the stream stopping and you having to rebuff it which is rather annoying, there are parts of whatever you watching that you won’t need 100% focus on. For that its a ok feature, I find myself using the pop out feature of BS player here and there to quickly check things while I watch a TV show and so on.

No, on a massive 5.5″ screen browsing on one side and watching a video on the other half isn’t an issue, texting may although be.

Look up note 2 or Optimus G of how they both do that :)

Note 2- with it’s running 2 apps on the same screen..

Optimus G – by reducing the opacity of video playing in the background while you can resume doing whatever you want. (2 things running at the same time- one with just less opacity)
