its not funded by google, Google pays Firefox to become default search engine in firefox. Microsoft is alwayz ready to pay to put Bing there. During 2010 yahoo was default search engine in Firefox. in 2011 google secured that spot by paying high price and repeated it in 2012. So,there are alwayz other options. And, Mozilla doesn’t run completely on that money…. that is just a small percentage of their revenues. …. … …. and that makes you a doofus

Every browser out there hogs memory whether its chrome,IE,Opera or Firefox. But Firefox is most stable of them all. And yes different people prefer different browsers according to their usage…no single browser is best in all departments. Every browser have their +ve’s & -ve’s .So does chrome

FF is Google-sponsored so it will only be a matter of time before it will be absorbed into Chrome, much like Meebo, Sparrow and Snapseed.

Yeah that’s the reason why it says Chrome is not compatible, you need 4.0 onwards.
