This is the same immature mistake Steve Jobs made when he said he didn't "want Android users to be happy".

It's business when you try to showcase your products better or want to prove your products are superior, but to just say you won't develop for someone just because they're your competitor is pretty childish.

I thought Google had more sense, especially after the whole Apple-ditches-Google-Maps circus a few months ago. Seems they don't.

My Lumia 820 rocks btw, even without these google apps.

I feel sorry for you.. your talking so nervous that your brain is going to explode any time soon if you keep reacting to posts/opinions like this.. Relax.. Well about that state that Android was developed on windows i doubt, cause it was made like linux.. witch is not windows.. so think twice on what it was made.. And about those states.. remeber that im not talking about other devices.. Im talking about mobile and remeber that none of the companies will wait for someone else.... i mean that Google and Apple dont want to lose their clients, so they will innovate too witch means that in 2016 WP will reach IOS and Android level, but no word about dominating the mobile industry.. And about that state that MS is bigger than Google.. Well actually no.. Microsoft makes 17.6 billion dollars per year while Google, According to Google's financial data, make $30 billion a year. If you can count.. then i must say one thing.. Google sure is bigger than MS.. not just bigger its almost twice as bigger.. and again.. have an nice day.. and before talking do some web search and try think at leas once in a life time... Ohh and im using an Iphone 3gs and i dont like high end phones... And i cant reply to your post cause its awaiting moderation...

Dont be retarded..... Its not about popularity.. its about economy.. They can make mega lumia 1920 with golograms and 1km wireless charge.. but they wont be so good as IOS and Android.. Cause when you look on a phone you care about OS features not wireless charge.. the main reasons why Android and IOS sells are higher cause the OS provides more stuff like Games, Apps and utilities.. Yes the WP OS is a great idea but it needs to be more polished.. i mean we need more apps that are on android and IOS.. It works great, even flawlessly.. but who cares when the only good thing about it is its MP3 player and Browser..

Kid at my college has an iPad 3 , The two things I like about it at first glance and usage are the fluidity of interface and the feeling of quality materials in my hand . 15 minutes later I return the tab to my friend with a shrug - it's nothing special and it costs an arm and a leg . 4.2 on the Nexus 10 is as fluid and ( to me ) more feature packed ... I can just get more ME inside android than in the iOS . iOS feels rigid and like someone telling me how to do what and teaching me how stuff should look like and that I should like it the way it looks and feels . Android just gives me freedom in making the interface look like I want it to .

I wonder why google is doing such a mistake. Windows phone is indeed a great platform, and google is a service oriented company not an any profit oriented company. Providing apps means providing services for the users more than the platform itself. So google!! go for the users not for the platform.
