On iPhone/iPad – press the “share” icon and select Apple TV. That’s it.

On Mac – Press the “share” icon in the Menu bar and select Apple TV to share the entire Mac, or press the “share” icon in iTunes to just share Music or Video.

Pretty straightforward if you ask me.

Free for people who pre-ordered it in the first place.

It’s still expensive for it’s function, though. You can get a Google TV, Apple TV or a Roku for much less. And the reason they recalled it in the first place because it doesn’t have as many function as they want it to have.

Can someone please explain me why this is important and how this is different from dlna?
Currently I already stream which ever content I have on my Sony Ericsson Arc to my tv via dlna directly to the tv or via wd tv live, so how does this make an improvement?
If there are substantial changes or better capabilities you should state it in the article…
