Quickmobile.ro prices for Nexus 7 but these are not the official prices. Asus will bring this tablet in Europe in September and in Romania maybe later that month.
Another example: in UK Nexus 7 price is £159 / £199 i.e. 200 / 250 euros (for 8GB / 16GB).
You just need to wait a little bit longer to buy this tablet like I do.

Yes some do make a “fair” price match where $100 =80.2 euros. But most don’t. Still if you are paid in euros it’s a fair price. But i want to get myself one from amazon.com Shipping to Romania is 20$ in my case so 250+20 sales tax for NY+20(shipping to RO)= 290$ so i will earn $20. Not that much. But here comes the shitty part about out country: VAT isn’t the only tax (there are numerous other taxes) and a Nexus 7 16 gb costs $445-450. I can get the 16 gb version from Amazon for less than the 8 gb is sold in my country. So for everyone finding the price high find someone who can get stuff from Amazon.com and buy it.

In Europe, VAT is about 20-25%. Now 1 € = 1,24 $ => the price with VAT in Europe is the same amount as in US but in euro instead of dollars.
i.e. 200 $ in US => 200 € in Europe & 250 $ in US => 350 € in Europe => 250 € is by no means a rip off for 16GB Nexus 7 tablet.
