The high price is something to do with the lack of official Apple Store, all we have here are “Apple Authorized”-branded reseller.

The WP7 > WP8 transition doesn’t matter that much since WP7 have miniscule market share right now, of course we’ll have to wait to see for everything else

Yeah maybe, but the reason iPod crush every single MP3 player out there is they hit every single demographic with their lineup.

Google Maps on Java was released in 2006. iPhone was announced in January 2007.

It was hardly an original “thought”, was it? The Google Maps application had been available years before the iPhone on so-called Java “dumbphones” (a misnomer if you ask me).
