Many people including you don't understand why they choose not to put SD card in it. The basic reason is they [external microSD cards] slow down the reading process. Just like any desktop/laptop if you attach an external hard drive to it, the time taken for transferring the data/functioning is much slower than doing in within the internal hard drive.

that's why Apple has the buttery experience which Galaxy nexus has now. it is all due to unnecessary external memory!! Please share this knowledge!!

I know, but it's a tabled form device so it meets my tabled requirements but i can still do something productive on it, stuff that i can't do on the RT or other ARM tablets. Sure, the price is high, but it is worth it in my opinion. And i'm sure it will get cheaper once it launches.

Um. Firstly, this has a 299ppi screen, making your point somewhat moot. And anyway, 300ppi is not the maximum visible at all if you look closely. I'd figure as tablets are used from further away, it's about the limit, though.

Are you serious? This is to show how good the screen quality is. It is running the magazine APP, which represents the actual magazine. It's not to show off how the N10 took a photo of the magazine and then someone took a photo of that. DERP

How was it a 'geek' phone? It is targeted towards both developers and consumers. I am using the Galaxy Nexus and it is still an amazing device. It was great to switch from the heavy overly of TouchWiz and Sense to pure Vanilla Android as it was meant to be. That is coming from a previous S2 and HTC Evo 3D user.
I do agree Google's marketing needs some working + with their even being cancelled because of Sandy they need to focus on some public awareness program for their line-up.

The nexus has always been targeted towards both consumers and developers. Google just emphasized upon this by offering flagship specs for it's entire line-up with a below market price. Just because it is useful for developers themselves doesn't make it any less worthy of a consumer device.
