Key Features:

To stat off, Friday for Android has a really cool and simple logo, which helps the app make a good first impression.

In order to use the app, you have to sign in to your Google account and tune a few options for the synchronizing services and app permissions. After you add your Google account, you get to choose the events that Friday needs to keep a track of and you ready to go.

Friday will now start to monitor your daily activities and collect data and then display it using some nice charts. As per your preferences, the memory app also log all the status updates and tweets from your social networks.

The best feature of the app is its ability to warp back to certain date to check what specific events occurred then. Friday also has a number of filters that enables you to search back on an activity based on a particular data.

Friday also gives you an overview of all the events it can remember in a visual representation. Furthermore, it creates graph that shows the number of calls, texts, mails, photos you captured, time you spent on social networks, notes you created and the music you listened on a single day and as a whole.

The app allows you to update your Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare statuses without having to leave it. With Friday, you can change of the service settings or your social networking permissions any time. Apparently, the app runs in the background all the time and according to the developers, the app does not upload or share any of the information collected by Friday with anyone including the developers.

Verdict:

Friday definitely needs some time to gather the required information, before the app is fully functional. The app automatically keeps a track of what you are up to. Since, the application is always running in the background and it needs to sync regularly to stay up to date with all the latest happenings around you, it does drain a considerable amount of juice from the device’s battery though. And, the often synchronization would also means that the app would consume a lot of data.

Apart from the above concerns, Friday seems to work flawlessly and is definitely one of the useful applications out there. The app comes handy whenever we need to look back to a certain point of time and see what happened there.

Friday is essentially your best friend who travels with you to keep a track of what you are doing all the time. With Friday, you can forget to remember as the app does all the remembering for you.
