If it’s like the Windows 7 one was, it’ll stay installed, but disable itself when Win8 is released.

You have to reinstall Windows 7 from disc. As long as you backed up beforehand, you can restore your stuff once you’ve reinstalled. If you didn’t, they did warn you…
