You know that explains quite a lot.

like why the Nexus 4 has no micro SD and LTE, so that LG could convince morons to buy that overpriced crap Optimus G and forget anything about updates.

Good question!
Don't know! I just guessed that by the 4-square shape on the right that is labeled "battery saver core".

I thought I already mention it like this, "I know every company did it..." so of course I know that. It just that what google did is beyond those 3rd party apps. Apps, by any means are restricted unless user provide an agreements for them. But it's different with Android where it IS the system. The one who has control over basically anything on our devices. That why I said what Google did was more than other companies did.

Tiar

WRONG! iPad4 needed to use 4channel memory to feed that retina screen. however apple is using DDR2.

the other SoC designers are using dual channel, but it supports DDR3L. this is how the new Exynos (Dual A15) is handling the high res display on the Nexus 10.

It also depends how good those memory channels are. NVidia's single channel in Tegra 3 was very good, and they tried to compensate with DDR3L, however that single channel was just a bottleneck, hence some lag.
