Apple always has strict quality control on their products. Knowing that iDevices are still manufactured by a Chinese company is only a question of geographics, fact of the matter is it’s still “Made by Chinese.”

All components made abroad are just going to be assembled in the US but still, more jobs for the homeland, more control over production, more bragging rights, cost stays effectively the same. Bruce Springsteen will be proud and so will most US citizens. Somehow I don’t think LG or Samsung can beat that just by engraving “Made in Korea” on the back of their anything.. unless they Gangnam Style it.
