]]> By: whatsupa http://blog.gsmarena.com/dell-streak-goes-sim-free-for-449-gbp-550-euro/comment-page-1/#comment-16641 whatsupa Mon, 28 Jun 2010 14:07:13 +0000 http://blog.gsmarena.com/?p=5138#comment-16641 you might feel that but it really shouldnt be a problem in practice. 800×480 is still a very detailed and good looking resolution even up to higher screen sizes. yes i guess you lose pixel density but the resolution is same. i use a hd2 with 800×480 on a 4.3in screen and pictures and font look great. if you imagine watching 1080p video on a 24in tv then compare it to a 42in or 56in, same resolution on bigger screen and still looks great. maybe there is a difference but i cant see it. it is something you have to experience, using a bigger screen make browsing much better, i have an ipod touch and would never think about browsing the web on it or on my n97. i am not a apple fan but i might have added an iphone 4 to my collection if it was around 4in or more. just for the record HTC and Nokia are my choice but im a phone nerd and want it all.

with iphone having a 3.5″ screen at 960×640 resolution I get the feeling that everything else will feel inferior…. especially when a 5″ has 800×480.. it’s too large for such resolution; the worst part is that you will not be able to view the whole website’s length at 100%. on a phone that’s excusable but not a mini tablet like this.

I’ll wait until higher-res screens arrive.
