Thats because the S3 waits to see if you double tap to open s-voice. Was the same on my Note 2… just open s-voice, go to setting and turn off the “open via home key” option.

Viola no delay when pressing the home key.

Fair enough but whether it is laggest is something you take up with specific manufacturers and can’t blame AOSP. Every device regardless of OS lags from time to time, never used an iOS but I am sure it does because I’ve seen people on subway using it and I’ve seen some lag on it.

Never a fanboy. Technology-fan and I am anti-Samsung for they alone are giving all plastics a bad reputation in the mobile industry (not to mention marketing and design).

Read my comment, we’re pretty close to what we say. If you don’t mind the lag, then it’s ok (aka not SUCH a big deal, esp if you haven’t touched a wp yet) what’s not ok is to say that droid does not lag. 1)It’s simply a lie 2)saying such thing you make yourself a fanboy for a company that will NOT put much effort into making their OS better… If you DO mention the lag however, then they probably wont stop dealing with it until it’s fixed ;)

You might not be able to see the lag but it doesnt mean it’s not there. Calling jealous the people who tell the truth is not gonna make droid lag any less… Plus like I said, if you don’t mind the lag, then it’s ok, but you can’t just say “there is no lag”…
