You always have iTunes and a laptop with ya , don’t u ? Even if u take a phone with local storage u need a laptop anyway (because what’s use of local storage on secondary device like a phone when u don’t have a primary device like laptop ?).You can do ‘local storage’ via iTunes …………having ur entire library with u and it takes complete backup including icon arrangement , settings , wallpapers etc.

example , if u want to transfer big videos , just scroll through app and drag ur video to it and it copies (no need even to start sync at all)

or if u have to transfer photos , camera kit directly gives access to transfer device.

I simply don’t understand whats up with this local storage issue , Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 were selling like hotcakes without any SD-slot and UMS mode.

Use iOS or WP for like a month and go back to android , you would know what i mean.
