IE11 on Windows Phone 8.1 caught on video

Internet Explorer 11 has been captured on a short YouTube video and users can take a look at some of the mobile browser’s new features.

Nokia and HTC take jabs at Samsung Galaxy S5 on Twitter

With the online forums and the social networks already abuzz after the Samsung Galaxy S5 unveiling, some of the Korean manufacturer’s rivals added their take as well. Both Nokia and HTC took jabs at the newly announced Samsung flagship on Twitter.

As you can see above, Nokia is as blunt as it gets. The Finnish manufacturer posted an image of a Nokia Lumia device along with the phrase “Not the Samesung.” Read more »

BBM coming to Nokia Lumia [Update: And Nokia X]

Nokia has taken to the stage at the MWC 2014 and the announcements are coming in thick and fast. One of the first announcements is some new apps for the Lumia platform, including BBM for Lumia.

Windows Phone 8 is on 80% of all WP handsets

The latest data out of AdDuplex indicates that the latest version of Windows Phone, WP8, is now on four of every five devices running Microsoft’s mobile OS.

This comes as a result of growth of the WP ecosystem through both adaptation of new handsets and retirement of older Windows Phone 7 handsets. Read more »

Nokia employs designers to make a dress out of 35 Lumia phablets
