The eye is not a single frame snapshot camera. It is more like a video stream. Though the DECam is a scientific marvel, the DECam gains its sensitivity from its extended exposure time coupled with lenses to detect red shifted light...But the retina equals that fete with a continuous simultaneous discretion of light which no ordinary sensor can match... And the eye has an effective pixel density of more than 600MP with each rods &amp; cones acting as individual pixels...]]></description>
