There are several brilliant (and cheap)  software packages out there to help the digital work flow  (BackyardEOS, APR and others) but none of these are geared towards Nikon which is a shame.  I am seriously considering the 60Da coupled with a set of Astronomik clip in filters. The fact that there was so long between the 2 if anything makes the comparison more important as a lot will have changed rather than it being a small improvement like you would see on things that are updated more regularly.
