installed bbm 7 on my curve 9360 but it just doesnt work. has been showing the message “associating bbm to your blackberry ID” for a day now. surely it cant take that long. i installed 7 because 6 just stopped working all of a sudden. now 7 doesnt work either. is anyone else facing this problem?
so disappointed with RIM. cant wait till im done with my contract so i can get rid of this useless device and upgrade to android.

apps are just the software bhind the hardware that gives droids those features.as long as RIM puts the right hardware I dont see a problem.well that and as long as bb10 has a high enough level of customization.But then again apps can give it that too
.yeah i know it wont be for all apps but chances are it will be a shit load of them that work.no sense in even making it a feature when it only works with only a few droid apps.
we cant jump to conclusions on what features a bb cant accomplish till they are released cuz u seem to be making judgment by the current bb’s out (which cant even be in the same room as a mid-range droid without being shamed)

so the real difference will be the hardware’s ability to keep up.

as far as multimedia, the apps can give it that too.

Social integration doesn’t encompass the term: multimedia.

Also, it hasn’t been confirmed that each and every single Android app will run on the new BB’s. Just said to be compatible.

Android has a ton of features that even iOS, let alone BB could ever accomplish. Just having apps on the BB wouldn’t make it ‘droid with BBM’

Google it.

your comment looks really narrow minded and based on speculation and hear-say. everything RIM has been doing lately is aimed towards multimedia.
bb10 will be able to use android apps so it will be pretty much a droid with bbm. and who wouldnt want bbm on their droid? and your last 2 sentences make little sense to me. the latest version of bbm released seems really focused on social interaction. these 2 points mean the next line of bb’s will be really focused on multimedia.

you are literally too stupid to insult. Samsung and Sony are the only companies I know of that make their own parts. Sammy with their chips and screens and Sony with their camera modules (I hear they make screen too) All com[anies design parts and have them produced by third party companies. I want you to name 1 company that completely makes phones by itself.
producing parts isnt whats important. it’s the design of those parts and how they are used.
