androidlikeaboss is right, its because Samsung spent a lot on marketing their brand and phones, the Galaxy S3 only feels quality next to a mid range phone, compare it with an HTC, iPhone, Lumia (any of them), Razr line or even Sony.

8 cores means smoother performance and better user experience. My Vista Ultimate laptop has four cores and is still kind of slow. Android on 8 cores will be a serious reason to upgrade. Meanwhile the Fruit Company Inc. are still selling turds with only 2 cores!
