They are however extremely useful as they are with me at all times, and allow for a lot of spontaneous sessions otherwise not possible. Nothing replaces professional equipment, but the iPad sometimes even has advantages even pro equipment does not, such as extreme portability.

Just like heart rate monitor sort of app, would you trust it? :) as for varieties of apps on both Apple Appstore and Android Market, honestly,I used to have 3GS and currently Galaxy S II/Galaxy Tab 7″/Asus Transformer TF101 all these  three Android devices has pretty much the same apps as my older 3GS. So I don’t see app as an issue moving to Android. =)

Only the popular models will receive attention by the manufacturers, and the ones that are not so popular, no matter how good, will be dumped by the wayside. 

This is why even on mobile phones, I’m switching to WP7.

Not much I can do there. In a sense I’m around 1% of time there with my usage.

Nothing I would be willing to spend money on. iOS is a toy system right now, they better get the new launcher soon and unleash the power of their iPads or I see no reason to jump from my ICS powered quad core with keyboard and proper OS with virtual screen.

now go and run application drawer on your iPad (e.g. switch it on) and click on Infinity Blade. You can’t beat games on iOS, not anytime soon… you made a wise choice.

After all, who needs tablet-specific apps when all the regular apps scale nicely?
