When will one of these companies release an inexpensive intel powered phone/tablet that runs w8 instead of android? It would be touch optimized (w8) AND have full legacy program support thanks to that atom proc making it possible to go past the limits of w8RT.
Add mini hdmi and either usbOTG or a BTkeyboard..your fullfeatured pocket laptop becomes a portable netbook/desktop.

This is just nonsense. how come you release a phone with an old GPU as the PowerVRSGX540 from 2011 i guess… and a single threaded processor ”low end” like they say.. intel atom will always be bad for business. look at the razr i eg. .i would say something like asus transformer mini.. but no padfone.

A single core low-end Atom as powerful as a quad core tegra3? Trust me, the only reason why Asus is doing this is probably because the Atom costs much less than a tegra3. This is a low end tablet (3mp rear camera) and IMHO it will have more or less the same price of the nexus 7. It will have a less powerful cpu but it will have rear camera and microsd slot, so you will be able to choose what you prefer.

if it will cost only as nexus 7 I will buy this.intel processor should be powerfull as tegra 3.um..i don’t know..wat u guys thnk?should I buy it if it costs only 299$
