I have to agree with you there. I am a professional photographer and on the MacPro(6 Core) that we use here at work is sufficient but, it would nice for Apple to not ignore the MacPro otherwise they will lose pros. The least they could have done is 1x Thunderbolt, NVidia Graphics (680 would be nice), USB 3, just these simple minor twics would make a world of difference, there isn’t much that needs to be done on the outside except maybe make a rack-able version since they did away with the XServe

But I think their direction is pushing Pros to iMac. I guess will have to wait and see what the future holds with Apple. I must say it always surprises me how Apple never surprises with their keynote by introducing something unexpected, yesterday was no difference except maybe giving away the fact that there is a new iPhone on the way, this is why they released the iOS6 SDK yesterday so by September its fully baked and ready for the iPhone launch.
