The MAC is a simpler device to use only because it has a very closely knit hardware/software configuration. Also, this gives Apple the opportunity to explore and do cool things when it comes to building software as they have at their disposal the hardware as well. Avoiding the problem of fragmentation that other OSes face. This gives Apple the ability to give its users an 'easy-to-use' experience.
Besides, having the 'dll's lying around for the naive users to come across is definitely an issue as they do not know what to do with them, might accidentally delete them causing issues. I have myself done that quite a few times as a child!
Having used all three OSes, I admit I found LINUX and OSX more simpler than Windows OS to use, infact my parents(introduced to computers in their 50's also could navigate around in these two rather intuitively!!)

Not an Apple die-hard but do appreciate good stuff.

Once again, Prasad "chose" not to write about this.
