They should have had a moving object in this test. The android phone looks like it has a still picture whilst the iphone 5 looks like it’s actually being used to shoot a video.

Actually most reviews show that the S III has a better Camera, for example CNET and PhoneArea recently compared them and the S III’s camera is better

When a camera’s and screen’s frames are not in perfet sync, what happends is the well known tearing, a frame breaks in two, or the camera happends to capture twice the same frame, and possibly not capture one that should be captured.

Screen filmings are the worse way to find lag. For a real test with a camera you need one that captures at least twice the framerate of the screen. 4 times or more would be recomended.

I’ve tried the iphone5, and when you record the video, you don’t see the stabilized image, you only see it, when you play the recorded content back, so that’s not a fair comparison, The uploaded videos from the 2 recording synced, like in their demo video should be a fair match.
