What was the biggest development before this alleged one?

biggest impact!? How many people can afford iPads to begin with? Are all schools gonna provide them? Good for you on saving money on the books when you had to dish out a hefty amount for the device to begin with. Besides, these rich media require more time and money to produce than traditional books so they are gonna make books more expensive. This is all marketing and books WILL cost more than $14.99 once people forget the hype of the release.

I’ll give you that this has the cool factor to it and lots of eye candy like any Apple product which is not a bad thing at all but digital interactive books existed before now. It’s just that Apple is regulating it and hyping it like hell like they always do.
