You really think WP7′s sales are abysmal because of apps? You’re funny. :D WP7 doesn’t sell because it’s a crappy OS with very limited functionality and an ugly UI. Every other OS is better than it.

It seem to be a decision based on WP/ Marketplace only being available on a limited amount of countries and also the slow growth of the WP7 platform. Let’s not forget that the latest Microsoft platform for the mobile ecosystem is still behind RIM in sales and market share. I could see most developers in WP7 taking advantage of the Mango release and the probable rapid expansion of the platform after that as an opportunity to drop the prices of their apps and appeal to a greater audience.

How come Apple and Android can
provide plenty of apps to their consumers while Microsoft cannot? Well, at least
Angry Birds is in Windows Phone 7. I’m sure their sales will improve once they
fixed this app shortage problem. Sure, people will consider this game a one-hit
wonder for Rovio Company, but it seems like this one-hit wonder will never
fade. It is truly the modern Disney, just unbelievable!

I’m glad of my decision of taking Android and say no to Windows7,after 7 years of WinMo, Angry Birds Works like a charm on Android + it’s free. I don’t know how to sinchronize game status from one device to another, because on the old Galaxy Tab i unloked much of the levels and on the new TAB 10.1v it’s all loked up.

the must be some short of incentives for windows development at this stage otherwise the market wont prosper….google provided Ad support to take its market in a competitive position against iOS
