Ofcourse it is… no sales, no capital, no money :D

It’s like company A sells 3 units @ $10, but company B earns the same amount money by selling 6 units @ $5. Total amount is same i.e 30$ but their target market, market share and other factors may be different.

At the end of the day both companies have to “sell” and “earn” $30. So yup you are right my friend

As a platform, iOS now lags behind Android in terms of market share but that’s because Android is supported by multiple manufacturers unlike iOS. But as a company Apple sells far greater number of smartphones than any single Android OEM, with even the most popular OEMs such as Samsung and HTC selling only about half as many smartphones as Apple.

Although it is a battle of 1 vs. 30, ONE still dominates, but Android is finally started to grow. Just a bit more of polishing and the history of smartphone shall be repeated. Unless something bad happens to whole tablet market, like what happened to netbooks.

Strategy Analytics are talking about unit shipments, not sales. But in
Apple’s case, unit shipments are the same thing as sales, because
they’re selling iPads to customers as fast as they can make them.

Other site tells that those android numbers are shipped devices, not solded devices

That’s because these are only shipments (to stores, carriers, etc.), not tablets actually sold to customers. Market share still belongs to iPad.
