It has a different architecture, so you shouldn&#039;t expect performance per clock to be the same for both processors regardless of how optimised the operating system is for either one. Secondly the hero was not tested with Froyo, so it could be that it sees the same relative performance increase as the Snapdragons did.]]></description>

Strange results. I cannot understand why the increase is not the same. I would expect that a half speed CPU would get the same relative increase. Coming from Linux world I would say that the support for Snapdragon was improved and that&#039;s why the number of FLOPs has increased. It is not necessarily faster user experience it is just a bigger benchmark number.
