Oh fair play, just been catching up on all the news I’ve missed over the last few days and seems the iPad now has the multitasking it’s been missing, so I wholeheartedly take back what I just said.
I’ve not used the iPad on the new firmware but if it can properly multi task faster than the Galaxy Tab with less RAM then kudos to it.

The iPad probably is faster, but it only does 1 thing at a time… So the specs, as in the RAM really does come into it’s own when doing more than 1 single thing.
I’d rather check my email, listen to my Spotify & have various web pages open in the background, with the tablet computer running a little slower, than just check my email really fast… but preference is everything. If you need a tiny computer to do one thing really fast you go for Apples offering, if you need a tiny computer to do lots of things fairly quickly, you go for Samsung’s :S

I agree in part that if you put the Samsung Galaxy tab spec sheet next to the ipad the that Samsung win.

But my problem with Samsung is not there products so much is that they tend not to
invest in their products. The upgrade to the tab has already been spotted with a bigger screen and better able to handle the android market. Coupled with the fact that it is way to expensive

Where does this leave Tab owners next year?

Samsung Tab hardware is better in many thing except it is small 7″ screen
the problem is the google android is not supporting the Tab and there is no apps for the Tab only the apps for smaller cell phone

so give it time
android will come to tablets and take the market :)

that obviously just means that not a lot of people in Belgium likes the Tab. I live in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia and a few weeks ago, when Samsung launches the Tab, the que was over 200 metres and all stock ran out in a few hours (granted, there was a discount). Pre orders reached a few thousand if I am not wrong, despite the next batch of stock only arriving on December, so i guess tastes differs in different places :)

Archos already has a 7 inch tablet
but it doesnt have the Android Market
It just didnt qualify for google seal of approval
cos it doesnt have many hardware like GPS
which is required for any Android device to get approval
But since the Archos 7 is hackable
I might get that and dump the Tab OS in it
although it doesnt have all the hardware to back the software
it will still be a great Tablet
since for one it will get the Android Market
and not the Archos AppLib or AppsLib

I don’t believe this. I went my local carphone warehouse and they said only 1 has been sold and it was a cash buyer. So how that can be………..
