what a lot of people dont understand is why 5.5 gb of storage would be enough for you? first of all, let me explain that not all people are like you who dont need storage space. I for one (and alot of people i presume) do not use cloud very much for they are very inconvenient. you would need a wifi or an unlimited data plan for that…expensive. what is the function of a tablet anyways? its best for multimedia, yes? meaning? lots and lots of movies and music! apps are getting bigger as they become more complicated coz modern phones/tablets are now more capable of handling more complicated (which means more space!) games. i like games..i like productive apps. i like downloading movies. all these needs space. each movie uses like 700 mb-1.5gb of space. i have plenty of games, and i dont wanna remove other games that i love just so i could install new ones, that is such a hassle!

Actually, when you mean “3G”, it is included in the standard GSM along with: GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA. So yes, GSM capability. maybe what “guest” meant was if it was capable of call support.

actually, a lot of people care. tethering drains battery of 2 of your gadgets. and in some countries, prepaid accounts are popular so multiple network coverage is better than just relying to one network.

I actually asking myself. Why didn’t they sell both Versions of the Nexus 7, Wi-Fi and 3G at the same time and why don’t they sell a Nexus 7 with both. The most important. Why 3G and not 4G?

it’s a problem on a phone with only wifi, which means, no 24/7 connection to the internet when you are out of wifi range, and cloud storage don’t work. i guess 3g would solve the problem a lil.

i wonder how could that be possible. having 3g means using hardware capable of doing 2g/2.5g/edge/3g/hspa. as far as i’m know, the same chip is used for 2g and voice call. the only limit would be the kernel support. look at the htc flyer.
